About DAS
Development Activities of Society (DAS) is a non-profit, non-political organization founded in 1998 in Jhenaidah, Bangladesh. DAS works to improve the socio-economic condition of underprivileged and disadvantaged communities through programs including microcredit, education, health and family planning, housing, agriculture, and tobacco control.
Use of This Website
You agree to use das-bd.org only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any part of this website, its underlying systems, or the data of other users.
Donations
Donations made through this website are voluntary contributions to DAS's charitable work. You may choose the purpose of your donation — for example Zakat, Relief, Sadaqah, Poverty Alleviation, or another cause — the currency, and the amount you wish to give. Donations are processed through SSLCommerz, a licensed Bangladeshi payment gateway. If you donate in a currency other than Bangladeshi Taka (BDT), the conversion to BDT is calculated and applied by SSLCommerz at their prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment; DAS does not set or control this rate.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when donating, including your name, contact details, and payment information, is accurate. DAS is not responsible for a donation being misdirected or delayed because of information entered incorrectly.
Refunds and Cancellations
Donations are generally non-refundable, as they represent a voluntary gift to support our charitable work. If you believe you were charged in error, for example a duplicate transaction, please see our Return & Refund Policy for how to contact us about it.
Intellectual Property
The DAS name, logo, and the content published on das-bd.org, including text, images, and design, belong to Development Activities of Society unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or use this content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This website links to the websites of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) and the NGO Affairs Bureau, and to our payment partner SSLCommerz. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third-party websites.
