Vision, Mission & Goal

Vision
Establish an equity-based, democratic and sustainable society where underprivileged people are no longer forced into poverty by unfair social and political systems. Their situation can be transformed when they are given the tools to change their own fortunes.

Mission
A large number of inhabitants in our society have no right of entry to essential food, health services, education, and basic rights. DAS works to bring these services within reach through need-based programs — raising awareness on nutrition, health, sanitation, education, agriculture, savings, credit, marketing, gender and the environment.

Goal
Establish an equity-based, democratic and sustainable society that gives underprivileged people the tools to transform their own circumstances, free from unfair social and political disadvantage.
